Case Study: Development of Mobile App for Food Delivery

Hong Kong based client was looking for Mobile App for Food Delivery platform for users to search restaurants around them and order their favorite food online. Customers can get the food delivered at the address given by them or they can pick it from the restaurant. This mobile app for food delivery is expected to provide seamless experience to the users while ordering food. Once the order is placed, the restaurant can accept or reject the order. Once the food order is accepted, the restaurant will keep customer updated about each and every step till it is delivered to the address. The most important part is that the user can give reviews about your food, delivery, and their overall experience.

The client wanted to make Mobile App for Food Delivery so that they can provide a good platform for hotel and food lovers. The expectation was to provide seamless experience while the food ordering process. The Client approached us (Bindura Digital) with an idea to build the Mobile App for Food Delivery on Android as well as iOS platforms. It was quite a tough and challenging task to handle ordering of food from single and multiple restaurants in a single order. Another challenge was to handle the billing of single and multiple restaurants in same billing and manage the delivery charges as per the food prices.

We developed Mobile App for Food Delivery using Flutter and Website portal using Laravel to ensure compatibility for both android and iOS platforms. The Mobile App for food delivery marketplace platform we developed is like Zomato, Swiggy, etc. We have developed Customer App (Android & iOS), Delivery App (Android & iOS), Restaurant Web Application, and Admin panel to manage the restaurant and analytics.
