Case Study: Social Networking Website Platform for connecting Families and Friends

A startup based out of Mumbai with an objective to connect the family members and friends on a social networking platform help them to be connected and be in touch regularly. The team had group of enthusiasts with numbers of years of industry experiences.

Client had existing website with various third party integrations to manage the Registration/Login data, profile data, real time analytics, user roles, payment gateways, sms and email integrations, etc. The current agency was unable to handle the backend development in order to maintain and upgrade the features on the product. Client was in hunt for an agency as a technology partnerthat can understand their business and had complete control over the technology to develop the modules in order to revamp complete website.

We have meticulously planned and skillfully developed the web based social networking platform for this startup using the lightweight Codeigniter framework with MariaDB in the backend. We have used robust architecture to develop this Social networking website.

We implemented MemCached for high-performance and memory caching along with elastic-search. Since it is a social networking platform Solution, it was expected to manage high volume of data on the real-time basis. Our architects designed the architecture in the most effective manner to deliver a robust and high performing platform.
