Case Study: Development of Marketplace Portal for Hotel / Room Booking

The Client based in Delhi, India wanted to have a marketplace portal for Hotel Industry that can allow hotels to sell their room inventory. They wanted to have a Responsive Website Design and customized booking engine for better conversion online. Their requirement was similar to the portals like OYO Rooms, Frotels, etc. The young and enthusiastic team members had all the relevant industry experience to manage the business and bring the idea into its glorious reality.

The client was facing multiple challenges like Budget, Timelines, Technical knowhow etc. that too without leaving any room for even the minutest error. They wanted to give complete experience to their clients and vendors in terms of searching and managing inventories respectively. The Client wanted to give seamless experience and extended features that the competitors are missing out on their platform. They wanted to have a robust back-end to handle various features in front-end.

We have skillfully developed the Online Marketplace for Hotel Booking similar to Oyo Rooms, Frotels, etc. for client using PHP Technology and Laravel language. It provides a great platform to hotels to add their property with all the composition, rates, and availability. Our platform enables the registered users to search, select and book the rooms for their stay for 24 hours or on hourly basis.

We have used MemCached and ElasticSearch for better performance and memory caching respectively. It is a competitive industry and so the search and performance make the most important part of the portal. The client also expects to have a large number of user base on the portal in near future; so, we created the platform using the MVC framework and robust databases to handle complex data for analytical purpose.
